Keith D. Bodoh was born in Dearborn, Michigan, attended both Georgia Southern University and the University of Georgia (B.S., 1992), and took his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law (J.D., 1995). While attending law school, he was an Editorial Board member, Articles Editor, and published contributing author on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. Keith was also a student prosecutor for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit in Covington, Georgia.
Before attending university, Keith resided in Sao Paulo, Brazil for twelve years. As a result, he speaks fluent Portuguese and is well-versed in the Spanish language. He is married to the former Karen J. Ayres of Seaside Park, New Jersey, and they have a son, Keegan Ayres Bodoh, and two daughters, Lillian Claire Bodoh and Audrey Ellen Bodoh.
Keith is licensed to practice law in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a active member of the Georgia State, Cobb County, and Atlanta Bar Associations, the Cobb County Trial Lawyers Associations, the Georgia Civil Justice Foundation, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA).
Keith’s primary areas of concentration are in general civil litigation and trial law, medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability, wrongful death, automobile accident law, insurance related controversies - including bad faith and coverage litigation, civil RICO, real estate, and criminal law. He has developed considerable proficiency in these areas, having successfully concluded thousands of such cases through negotiation, settlement, mediation, trial, and appeal.
In 2003, Keith was one of 50 attorneys invited to attend Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College at his Thunderhead Ranch in Wyoming. The Trial Lawyers College is considered the most prestigious and selective trial advocacy college in America. Since its inception, Gerry Spence has graduated only about 500 students. The 23-day college brought together some of the best trial lawyers in America, including Milton Grimes, Paul Luvera, Bill Trine, Larry Joe Doherty, Tom Metier, Rex Parris, Anne Valentine, Jude Basile, and Gerry Spence. Keith had a personal and professional experience that only a few trial lawyers have been privileged to share.
